Nursery Rhyme day

Kale's class busted out another program. They performed nursery rhymes for the whole school. As you can tell he was forced to get his picture taken with his teacher.

The celebration continues

A girl only turns ONE once in her life but in our house it's celebrated several days.

Our first annual birthday girl picture. Sharing a birthday isn't so bad after all.

The big sledding event

Steve took the B boys on their first official sledding trip. They loaded up the truck in search of the perfect hill to hurl themselves down. They made a nice little path and added a ramp at the bottom. Up and down, up and down they went for over an hour. Steve delivered 3 human popsicles home with a ravenous appetites. They have yet to figure out why anyone would not like this much snow. It's fun and it keeps them out of school.

A little snow

More like a ton of snow! The Big Man dropped 22" of snow on us. Our little town shuts down when a dusting is forecasted, so we are holed up in the house fore a while. This is probably the snow of our life time! It is crazy out there. Maybel has a heck of a time getting around but loves it because she is off her rope and has free range of the neighborhood. The boys and I played outside forever. We dug a tunnel, attempted to sled but just sunk, buried the boys, had a snowball fight, made snow angels, dug out Dad's truck...it was awesome! Avery, she didn't really get what the fuss was all about. Wouldn't even eat any. Next year I guess.
