Halloween 2010

A fun Halloween this year sans Lucas' stomach flu. Steve, Logan, and Kale trick or treated with some friends while Lucas, Avery and I stayed home. Lucas and Avery made it to one neighbor's house and that was all Lucas could give. Avery didn't mind wearing her costume at all. She was super cute. Kale and Logan had a blast and really brought in a lot of candy. They toured in style...a gator pulling a trailer with hay bails. The two healthy kids had to share their candy with Lucas. Without a second thought they gave him all their almond joys. Such generous kids...not. A co-worker of mine sent me home with a bunch of body part candy that made Lucas' day.

The Amazing Lucas

Lucas is playing soccer again this season and he conned me into coaching. We are having fun together and Lucas is amazing on the soccer field. He is absolutely one of the best players on the team and plays hard. He has scored every game and hates taking a break. Go Luke!

7 months old

This pretty little girl is getting too big, too fast. She has already hit 18 pounds! She started sitting at 6 1/2 months and they way she stretches out from the sitting position, it won't be long until she is crawling. WewillbeinBIGtroublethen!!!

Good Hunting, B Boys

The opening day of bow season is upon us. Apparently that is supposed to matter to me...it doesn't. Our neighbor Josh took them "hunting" today and they loved it. Only weapon they were allowed was a slingshot. This hunting phase is not ending.

A new adventure

Logan is not known to be adventurous or one who embraces big change. So when he, on his own accord, decided he wanted to try flag football I nearly passed out. After triple checking my double check I signed him up. As expected he was ready to quit when it was eval time but when the choice was reimburse me for the sign up fee or go through evals, he survived the eval. Amazing. He had done really well and I think he secretly likes it. He doesn't really miss soccer. His buddies Cole, Conner and Tyler are on the team. He plays both offense and defense. He has gotten a few key tackles, broken up passes and even made an interception. No real yardage though. No biggy. Steve is the offensive coordinator. I think Logan likes having dad help coach. It has been fun for him. I never get to see him play as I am always at a soccer game. No fair.
