Happy Easter Birthday

It's not very often that a person gets to share their birthday with Easter but it just so happened for Logan this year. Me, I don't share my birthday. Had it happened to me we would have had to push my b-day up a day. However, Logan is a bigger person than I am when it come to birthday's but sheesh that kid had like a million celebrations. We saved all the family presents for his actual birthday so that it wouldn't be a let down for him. He was into the Easter Bunny stuff just long enough to let his brother scope out their loot and then it was onto the B-day presents. You will notice the Razorback trashcan. Not a big fan of that gift but what do I expect when raising him in Razorback territory. He still blasts the K-State Marching band CD so it's not a total loss!

We also are blessed enough to have wonderful neighbors, well except Drew is part of that package and he is the big brother I never ever wanted, but the rest of them are great! Anyway we were invited over to Drew's mom's house for Easter dinner. Everyone pitched in and it was an amazing meal with awesome pies...ahh, coconut cream. Great eats without a great amount of effort. My entire cooking strategy! Since they don't have any young kids around, the B boys were in the spot light and loved every minute of it. Miss Ella arranged for an over the top Easter egg hunt. It had to be in the basement and not all over the farm due to the monsoon. There were a least 150 eggs stuff full of 2 of the greatest things - money & candy. Kale found all the "paper dollars" but Logan still drug in the most cash so he felt he was still victorious. After that there was a pinata for just the 3 boys. After several attempts Logan finally busted it open to produce more candy. Yeah, just what they needed! Wonder how long I will be picking up candy wrappers around the house????
